The CPC Manager Workshop takes a deep dive into mental health at work and how it can negatively affect workforce productivity, as well as how to support employees in developing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) skills. Our unique approach equips line managers, team leaders and supervisors with a range of valuable skills which will enhance teamwork and develop individual coping mechanisms to overcome anxiety and the day-to-day pressures of work.
Line managers face significant challenges when attempting to manage and motivate their teams in high-stress environments characterised by heavy workloads. The pressure to deliver results can lead to increased stress levels among team members, potentially leading to decreased morale and motivation.
There is the potential for breakdowns in communication within the team. Stress can exacerbate existing tensions and disagreements, making it difficult for managers to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Understanding and utilising CBT-based tools can provide significant positive outcomes on morale and productivity in high-stress environments. Incorporating CBT principles into their approach, managers can empower their team members to handle stress more effectively, improve their mental well-being, and ultimately enhance their overall performance and productivity.
