Mary Haley is a UKCP-registered psychotherapist with nearly
twenty years of experience, primarily working within prisons to support men
who’ve committed violent crimes in understanding and changing their thoughts
and feelings. Currently, she manages the Clinical Training & Development
department at the UK’s only fully therapeutic prison, designing and delivering
training for multi-disciplinary staff teams, alongside providing private
clinical supervision.
Mary has also maintained a private practice, worked within
the NHS, and conducted psychological assessments for reality TV programmes. She
has published chapters on Attachment Theory in textbooks and has extensive
experience in training staff on personality disorders.
With a background as a prison manager for seventeen years,
Mary holds a degree in Philosophy and Literature, a Master’s in Psychotherapy,
and a Post Graduate Diploma in Training & Human Resource Management.
Passionate about helping individuals reach their highest potential, she
